What appointment should I book?

For new clients, it is typically suggested to book a new client appointment (either New Client Custom Curly Cut or New Client Short Curly Cut). This allows us the proper time to fully analyze your routine, lifestyle, product usage, and a complete hair and scalp analysis as well as educate our clients on how to maximize their satisfaction with their hair at home. New Client appointments come with a full educational experience and is suggested for clients even if they have been to another curl specialist.

If you are a returning client, you may have the option to book a Custom Curly Cut or an Express Curly Cut. Express Curly Cuts do not come with a wash and style and require you to come to your appointment with a fresh cleanse & go following your natural curl pattern within 24 hours of appointment. Express appointments are allowed 1 time in between a full Custom Curly Cut appointment and must be within 3 months of last full cut appointment.

If you have hair shorter than your ears you may book a Short Curly Cut appointment.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

CUT:

For a curly cut appointment, if you are looking for a specific shape, it’s best to come with your hair washed, detangled, and styled with products of your choice. It’s suggested to do this within 24 hours of your appointment so that your hair has an opportunity to dry. This allows us a visual and insight into what’s going on with your hair and how to best move forward as well as how best to educate you to improve to meet your curly hair goals.

COLOR:

For a dimensional custom color, seeing your hair in it’s naturally curly state will allow us to place dimensional pieces throughout your curls to best compliment them. Please have your hair recently washed within the past 2 to 3 days to ensure your curls aren’t too stretched out. If you have a product or scalp build up it is suggested to wash it within 24 hours of your appointment.

I’m looking for highlights or a balayage, how should I book my appointment?

All custom color can be booked under Dimensional Custom Color. Your vision will be discussed and a quote will be provided prior to service.

Dimensional Custom Color can typically be expected to cost ~$200.
